Popular JE group, V6, is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. Oricon Star interviewed the group about their heartbreak themed new single, “only dreaming/Catch”, that will be released on September 1, and Inohara’s upcoming drama, “警視庁捜査一課9係 (Keishicho Sousa Ikka 9-gakari)”.
The highlights of the interview and PV of the new single come under the cut.
If you take their comments in the right context, I think it’s quite refreshing to see them poke fun at one another.
It is now official that Jin Akanishi is now an ex-member of idol group KAT-TUN. On Johnny’s official website, Jin’s name has been taken off KAT-TUN’s roster, and instead has his own separate website under Jin Akanishi.
We wish all the best of luck in their endeavors. Hopefully no one has any regrets since this will be a permanent break.
Tokyo Sports has reported that Arashi members held a surprise birthday party for Matsumoto Jun last weekend. Since the other members wanted to surprise him, they lied and told him that the location they were headed to was a shoot for “Himitsu no Arashi-chan”. As it turns out, not only were the other members in on Jun’s surprise, but so were all the staff from “Himitsu no Arashi-chan” and “Arashi ni shiyagare“.
Since Jun is into hot springs and yakiniku (Japanese barbecue), Ohno Satoshi and Ninomiya Kazunari gave Jun a ticket to lodge at the hot springs, and Aiba Masaki and Sakurai Sho gave him yakiniku invitation tickets.
At the end of the party, Jun was shown a short movie that the other members made for him, and it consisted of pictures, group narrations, and music. As soon as Jun watched the movie, he started crying, and he said, “I’m glad to be in Arashi.”
One of the biggest reasons that Arashi is so popular is that members love each other, isn’t it?
